Dimension: Theatre 400 seats, foyer and facilities, exteriors.

The new public theatre is conceived as a complex of flexible and multifunctional spaces flanked by secondary spaces, specialized and independent. The service spaces  optimize the building for an intense and varied programming, open to different types of users. From the building’s entrance to the front square, the project aims at making the activities inside the hall-foyer visible, thus arousing curiosity in the theatre-goers. This layout also introduces the new building to the town of Nettuno, making the complex a a large, urban red carpet for the people. The flexible scheme of this new open theatre is unified by a continuous, regular flat covering, which accompanies the public from the square, through the glazed hall,to the entrance and into the auditorium. The complex maximizes multi-functionality, so that it can be used by the highest number of  patrons, in the widest range of hours. For that, the main space is organized with telescopic, mobile stalls, which are totally retractable and disappear into the auditorium’s rear wall box. This black box is capable of freeing up the auditorium, creating a flat, open multi-functional space for events, fairs, and exhibitions. The continuity between interiors and exteriors is the key to making the most of the complex, as it allows for the organizationof external events, accomodating more visitors than events inside the auditorium.

Dimensioni: sala teatrale 400 posti, foyer, servizi e piazza esterna.
