Concept
Two small-sized apartments, in which two living zones were redesigned to form a continuous space around a single isolated object, a kitchen box in the first instance, a mobile bookcase in the latter.
The larger apartment, located into an historical building of the Prati quarter in Rome, redefines the relation between the ancient flooring, whose patterns and colours were preserved, and the independent visual and functional layer of the new walls.
Due alloggi di piccola dimensione (60mq), nei quali si è intervenuti ridisegnando l’ambiente living come uno spazio continuo, articolato da un oggetto isolato posto al centro dello spazio: un box cucina in un caso, una libreria pensata come schermo mobile, nell’altro. L’alloggio di dimensioni maggiori (150mq), in un edificio storico del quartiere Prati di Roma, ridefinisce il rapporto tra i pavimenti originari, conservati con i loro motivi e specchiature, ed i tagli visuali e distributivi ottenuti con le nuove pareti.
